Essential oils for the face against wrinkles, use for lifting

Use of essential oils

Our bodies change throughout life: cells die and are restored. But with every decade they recover more and more poorly. After 30 years, a person begins to lose 1-2% of muscle mass per year, even if he leads an active lifestyle. All tissues in the body suffer losses, so that signs of aging appear on the skin. We call it aging and know that it cannot be stopped.

Signs of aging around the eyes

External signs of aging appear around the age of 25

Why signs of aging are visible on the skin:

  • the fat layer decreases;
  • bone mass decreases;
  • Connective tissue is destroyed.

The metabolism in connective tissue slows down. The building materials in our body are being produced less and less: proteins (collagen and elastin) and polysaccharides (glycosaminoglycans). Roughly speaking, the aging process involves the gradual loss of these components. What we can do? Just try to slow down aging. Often even improve the condition of the skin, rejuvenate it with the help of competent care.

How do essential oils for the face work against wrinkles?

In plants, essential oils are involved in metabolic processes. The main components of esters - terpenoids and aromatic compounds - very quickly and actively enter into various chemical reactions within cells. Active chemical reactions also occur when the ether comes into contact with human skin. Phenols, aldehydes, organic acids and alcohols in ether cause skin irritation and blood flow to the contact site more quickly. Thanks to this effect, compresses and applications with oil work. The higher the oil concentration and the longer the exposure, the more active the skin reaction.

Essential oils do not contain vitamins. The vitamin is retained either in water or in fats; The ester contains neither fats nor water.

Use facial oil for wrinkles

When we need to treat fine lines and wrinkles, the options seem endless. Should you choose a cream or a lightweight anti-aging moisturizer? How about a vitamin C serum or acid gel?

Essential oils can't eliminate wrinkles, but they can help minimize them.

You can also:

  • accelerate collagen production
  • Improve skin tone
  • evens out the complexion
  • Reduce inflammation
  • Increase epithelial cell turnover
  • Protect your skin from the environment

Which facial oil for wrinkles to choose instead of cream?

One of the most valuable components of skin oils are lipids (fats). They glue the horny cells (scales) together, forming a protective barrier that stores moisture. Also protects against the penetration of harmful microorganisms.

By applying it to the skin in pure form, it seems to us that we thereby strengthen this protective barrier and the skin is saturated with moisture.

But the problem is that not a single vegetable oil contains a lipid ratio suitable for our dermis. When applied to the face, we immediately feel hydrated and comfortable as it smoothes dead skin cells and softens the skin. A film is also created that stores moisture on the surface.

Lipid barrier of the skin

If we continue to use it regularly, it begins to penetrate deeper into the skin layer and destroy our own lipids. Their ratio begins to change, which leads to the destruction of the lipid barrier. The skin becomes even drier and flaky.

Therefore, to strengthen the lipid layer, it is much more beneficial to consume fats internally.

But there is also good news. Thanks to their moisturizing and softening properties, vegetable fats are perfect for fighting wrinkles when used wisely.

how to use essential oils

In combination with other components, they have a beneficial effect on the skin and smooth out fine wrinkles. Therefore, it is even recommended to use it in various mask recipes.

To prevent the skin from getting used to it, the recipes have to be constantly changed. But more on that below. For the reasons mentioned above, it is not recommended to use it regularly in its pure form, so replacing it with daily care instead of a cream will not work, as it can cause serious damage.

Skin protection barrier

For wrinkles, it is used in its pure form for additional moisturization and relief only in an emergency over a period of 1-2 weeks. This must be done taking into account the following rules:

  • The face must be wet before application;
  • The number of drops depends on your skin type: dry 3-4 drops, normal 2-3, oily 1-2;
  • After 15 to 20 minutes, dab the cover with a napkin to remove the excess.
  • Be sure to apply moisturizer after use.
  • Apply oil to the eye area two hours before bedtime to prevent severe puffiness.

An effective and safer way to use anti-wrinkle oil is to add a small amount of drops to various masks, the recipes for which are listed below. In combination with other components for 20-30 minutes, such compositions bring benefits only if they are selected correctly (more on this later).

Anti-aging can be done 2-3 times a week. At the same time, it is recommended to change the composition of the masks once a month to prevent the skin from getting used to it.
